information and in the event tree.You can use alternatives if the date of an event has not yet
been set and if the organizer would like to hold a few options. The alternatives
will block the rooms and resources, but the revenue will be calculated in the
forecasts only once. The alternatives are marked with an arrow-symbol

information and in the event tree.
Alternatives can be created for tentative and optional reservations. Click the copy-button, enter the date and specify the mode alternative.

As soon as the status in one of the alternatives is changed to guaranteed, all alternatives are cancelled. The same happens if you activate one of the event reservations. Three registry-keys have an impact on these automatic cancellations:
•[8597] Comment for cancellation of alternatives if master is changed to guaranteed.
•[8598] Reason for cancellation of alternatives if master is changed to guaranteed.
•[8599] Reservation type (status) for cancelled alternatives if master is changed to guaranteed.
