Yield restrictions

The yield restrictions can limit the use of BAR rates in different ways. In general, you can create one restriction per day.

Ø To enter a new restriction, click Add  next to the listbox.

Ø To change an existing restriction, click Edit  next to the listbox.

SIHOT opens a dialog box to enter the details. The following settings are available:

•    Date:

Enter the date for a new restriction. You cannot change the date of an existing restriction.

•    Package:

Select the respective package.

•    MLOS:

Enter a minimum number of nights for reservations to be excluded from the restriction. Reservation with fewer nights will fall into this restriction.

•    Staying pattern:

o  CTA - closed to arrival

o  CTD - closed to departure

o  RestrictionCloseRate - SIHOT processes this restriction as in “block and do not accept”; i.e. an error message will be displayed and a booking is not possible.

•    Closed:

o  Yes: the package cannot be booked for that day.

o  No: the other conditions (LOS, etc.) must be met in order for a booking to be accepted.

Ø Click New or Modify to save the restriction.
