The Upselling-function is available when conducting a check-in via control center. Use this function to sell an upgrade to a different category or additional services to guests upon arrival. You can then directly check the guest into the requested higher category and the charges for the upgrade and/or extra services are added to the fix services at the same time.
To carry out the function, proceed as follows:
Ø Call up the reservation in the Arrivals-tab in the control center.
Ø Click Upselling in the function pane.
SIHOT opens a dialog box with the categories and services that are available for upgrading the guest’s stay.
The categories listed are only those categories with a higher classification than the category reserved and which are available during the guest’s stay.
Ø For further information on a category, call up the respective comments by clicking the category in the listbox.
Ø If the guest wishes to upgrade, highlight the requested category and click Add next to the additional charges per night.
The upgrade-package is added to the guest’s fix services.
Ø If the guest wishes to book an additional service, select the service in the listbox and click Add next to the unit price.
The service is added to the fix services.
Ø To reverse upgrade or additional service, click Remove next to the rate.
Ø Click Close to continue with the check-in procedure.
