In the following situations, points cannot be awarded automatically:
• Points are only awarded during the reservation period. Therefore, if you’re posting accommodation charges after the departure date, no points will be generated, as SIHOT will be unable to detect a room holder. You can, however, post points manually to the guest profile, provided you have the appropriate user rights.
• Points generated automatically by SIHOT are always linked to a reservation. I.e. if you post accommodation charges manually to a misc. account, the account holder will not receive any points. In this case, you may also post points manually to the guest profile.
• When splitting a bill, the points cannot be divided, as the points are always awarded to the account holder.
• Guest nights being charged to a group account do not produce points for the card holder.
