Setup

The following setup is required for using the credit card pre-authorisation:

Serialisation of the function Credit card online terminal

Registry key [1834] must be enabled

EMV-cards are shown only if registry key [32796] is enabled.

There are a number of optional registry settings (node Interfaces - Authorisations [26600]) to configure the authorisation process at your property. Most importantly:

Use registry keys [1833] and [1832] to define maximum and minimum amounts to be authorised. Similarly, the keys [1830] and [1829] define the number of nights to be authorised.

As the standard authorisation only takes the fix services in the reservation in account, you can use registry key [1846]  to add a certain amount for the guest’s extras for each day of the stay. This daily amount for extras can be overwritten in the actual authorisation dialog box as required. However, in registry key [1850], you can define a limit for the amount that staff can enter for extras.

For the authorisation dialog box to be displayed on check-in automatically, the guest’s profile must be flagged accordingly in the Additional information, expander Account instructions. Use registry key [1836] to set the authorisation flag automatically in all guest profiles (applies to new profiles only, existing profiles will not be affected by enabling this registry key).

Use registry key [815123] to prevent changes in the field Authorise on the rooming list to be taken over in the guest profile automatically.

Use registry key [815124] to prevent changes in the field Authorise in the guest profile to be taken over on the rooming list automatically
