The service task master file defines the standard procedures and acts as a template for the guest requests.
The different types of service tasks are provided by SIHOT.
The field Planned procedure time (minutes) is the timeframe during which the task should be carried out. This time starts when a service task is entered for a guest until it is completed by a staff member.
The settings in the fields Maintenance status (beginning) and Housekeeping status (beginning) will changed the room status effectively as of when a member of staff takes over the task. Likewise, when ending the task in SIHOT, the status changes to the settings in the fields Maintenance status (completed) and Housekeeping status (completed).
The service entered in the fields Service (beginning) and Service (completed) will be charged to the guest’s account as soon as a member of staff takes over the task or finishes it.
