Service and package master files

The field Card revenue determines which services and packages generate loyalty points.

In packages, you can also specify if the points are generated for the total price of the package or if only the package’s individual components (services) should generate points. I.e. if the package’s component list contains services that are not eligible for points, the number of points generated during the guest’s stay will be less than the price of the price of the package may suggest.

If points are based on revenue, you can also specify in packages whether the points are generated for the total price of the package or whether the individual components (services) determine the points to be awarded. I.e. if the package’s component list contains services that are not eligible for points, the number of points generated during the guest’s stay will be less than the price of the price of the package may suggest.

If the points are based on guest nights, the component list must be set up so that the package still generates a positive accommodation revenue after deducting all other components from the room rate. This is necessary as points will be awarded only for guest nights yielding an accommodation revenue of >0, 00. Also, the field Processing is important with regards to the distribution of points.
