Room rate packages are based on the number of guests sharing a room. There are different rates depending on the number of sharers in a room. The rates for any children in the room are added to the adults’ rate.
For this type of package, it is important to:
•define all person types correctly in the master files.
•enter the appropriate number of guests (adults and children) with their respective person types in the reservation.
As the name suggests, these packages are always charged per room. In the field Processing, therefore, it is not possible to select the option Per person.
The guest-related component lists in these packages contain per person rates only, for both children and adults and the elements can never be variable.
