Reinstating a cancelled reservation

If a reservation was cancelled by mistake or if the guest changed their mind again, you can reverse the cancellation by changing the field Reservation type back to the applicable status (guaranteed, optional, etc.).

However, if your property uses the SynXis reservation interface, the reservation type can not be changed back. Instead, proceed as follows:

Ø Call up the cancelled booking.

Ø Click Reinstate in the function bar.

SIHOT copies the original booking and creates an identical new reservation with a new reservation number.
