Certain packages and services may be restricted in their use should, therefore, be visible to certain access groups only. Instead of having to select or deselect each access group separately in the package or service master files, you can combine different access groups by assigning them the same rate index. Users will only be able to work with those packages and services that are permitted to their access group.
For example, housekeeping may be able to post flowers to a guest account but no room rate packages.
