Planning

The Planning-function allows you to plan ahead and issue specific instructions for the rooms within a reservation. This is especially useful for group reservations. For example, you can add additional items to be placed in the guest room prior to arrival or ensure that soap, towels and/or linen are changed more frequently than normal.

The planning-function must be enabled with registry key [811106].

To plan the individual rooms-to-clean report, proceed as follows:

Ø Ensure that all rooms within the reservation are allocated.

Ø In the Reservation-tab, click Rooms-to-clean planning .

SIHOT opens an additional tab and loads the standard data for the individual rooms-to-clean report. The listbox shows the arrival, stayover and departure dates for each room within the reservation.

The column Additional information contains any fix services that are defined in the master file Parameters housekeeping report.

Ø To change the existing data, highlight the respective room(s) on the date to be changed and click Edit  or Multiple edit  next to the listbox.

SIHOT opens a dialog box to amend the standard and to add any additional instructions.

Ø Complete the dialog box as required and click Modify to save the changes.

Ø Click Modify in the function pane of the reservation to save the rooms-to-clean report.

Any changes to the standard housekeeping rooms-to-clean list are marked with an Edit-icon  in the Status-column.

The planned data will be taken over automatically when calling up the individual rooms-to-clean report.
