Maintenance report

You report maintenance issues and document them for Maintenance department by adding a photo or video. The issues will automatically appear on the maintenance report.

To complete a maintenance request, proceed as follows:

Ø Call up the room in the rooms-to-clean list .

Ø Tap the arrow .

SIHOT opens a dialog box with the room data.

Ø Select the applicable housekeeping status as per hotel policy and the maintenance status.

Ø Enter the maintenance status, priority and a description of the problem.

Ø To add a photo or video to illustrate the damage or fault, tap Camera .

SIHOT opens a dialog box to add a media.

Ø Tap Video  or Photo  to launch the camera in your device. Alternatively, select an existing photo or video from your device by tapping File .

Ø Tap OK  to save the maintenance request status.

To add a photo or video on the maintenance repor itself, proceed as follows:

Ø Tap Camera  under the entry

Ø Tap Video  or Photo  to launch the camera in your device. Alternatively, select an existing photo or video from your device by tapping File .

Ø Tap OK  to save the maintenance request.

The requests are also immediately visible in SIHOT.PMS.

Ø For an enlarged view of the photo or to watch the video, click the button next to the thumbnail.
