SIHOT uses a number of icons for a better overview and as a means to alert the users to certain facts. The following table lists the icons that are used throughout the application and their meanings:

The guest’s birthday was either the day before, is today or will be tomorrow. | |
Blacklist |
The guest is blacklisted (as per guest profile, tab Additional information field Stop/Invoice). | |
Checked-in |
The icon appears with reservations, rooms and guests in the listboxes of the reservation search, group reservations and rooming list in the Status-column as well as in the Control Center. The icon also appears in the expander Detailed information in the room rack and in the expander Edit data in the rooming list. | |

Edit/Signature |
On a button next to a listbox, you can click the icon to edit the entry or document. In a reservation (for example in the expander Edit guest data), the icon means that the guest has provided a digital signature with the registration card function in SIHOT. | |
Edit, multiple |
Click the icon to change the column for all highlighted entries. | |
Excel Export |
Click the icon to export the data of the listbox into a spreadsheet. The sequence and order of the data will be taken over as is. | |
External reservations
External reservation search |
External reservations are imported straight into SIHOT with various reservation interfaces. You can specifically search for these imports by using the external reservation search. | |
Guest identification |
The icon is displayed in a reservation if a guest ID has been entered for the guest. | |
HQ-sync connectivity |
In MPE-installations, these icons show wether HQ-sync is working or disrupted. | |

A loyalty card is entered in the guest profile. |

An additional or extended selection of parameters is available. | |
No post |
This icon appears if the function No post was activated in the guest’s account. This prevents any postings to the account via interfaces (POS, spa-interface, pay-TV) and also prevents guests from making outside calls. | |
Package |
The icon indicates a package. | |
Pick-Up |
The icon stands for transport bookings (taxi, airport transfer, etc.). | |
Police report |
The icon stands for the police report. | |
Prepayment |
The guest must prepay any reservations (as per guest profile, tab Additional information field Stop/Invoice). | |
Rate frozen |
The rate in this reservation has been frozen and will not update automatically if the rate master file is changed. | |
Rebate |
The invoice has been cancelled. | |
Rebate level 4 |
The invoice was cancelled using rebate level 4. | |
Reservation |
The icon stands for a reservation. | |
Reservation, group |
The icon indicates a group reservation. | |

Sharers: - single occupancy - two sharers - 3 or more sharers |
In a reservation, these icons show the occupancy in the room, depending on the number of sharers. | |
VIP |
The guest is a VIP. | |

The guest has checked-in via internet (e.g. on the hotel’s website or using the app SIHOT.Go!). | |
