This report shows the services that are defined in the master files Parameters Housekeeping report. Here, the services are combined in different groups, for example Housekeeping for all services that the housekeeping department supplies in the guest rooms and Restaurant for all F & B services. The list, therefore, is sometimes referred to as “breakfast report”, as is particularly useful as a list of guests that have breakfast included with their bookings.
If the report is run as a batch in the night audit, it will list all services regardless of grouping, service or service type.
Whether or not a service or service type is included on the list depends on the housekeeping rhythm. SIHOT checks for rhythms in the following sequence:
1. Room master file
2. Service master file
3. Component list
If there is no rhythm specified for a service, SIHOT assumes that the service is to be listed each day.
How many services are to be applied per room per day depends on whether the service is a variable component and on the quantity defined in the package’s component list (see also section Master files - Package master file - Component list.
When calling up the report, you can add the following parameters to the selected services or service types:
• A = Arrivals: include arrivals on the day
• D = Departures: include departures on the day
• S = Sums: display totals only
If neither A or D are entered, both will be included on the report.
For example:
• FR(D):
Calculates all guests with service FR, including the departures on the day. Arrivals with this service will not be included.
• AE(AS):
Calculates only the totals of guests with service AE, including arrivals.
The printing can be adjusted depending on who or which department will receive the report, by choosing page breaks, etc. under the selection-heading.
The list also includes the VIP-flag and guest titles.
