next to the field to be hidden.Hidden fields are not shown in the user interface and can help to streamline the information displayed to the user. To hide a field, proceed as follows:
Ø Enable the configuration mode and open the respective dialog.
Ø Click the icon next to the field to be hidden.
SIHOT opens the layout Field configuration.
Ø Highlight the BO in which the field should be changed and select Hidden in the column Field configuration.
Ø Click Modify in the function pane and close the layout Field configuration.
Ø Disable the configuration mode.
TIP:
Instead of hiding a field completely
from view, you can prevent users from editing a field by rendering it
“read-only”.

Ø To reverse the hiding of a field, proceed as above and delete the entry Hidden, leaving the column blank.
