In addition to the guarantee types entered in the booking conditions, another way of working with Guarantee types is enabled with registry key [9266]. By default, this key provides the following three guarantee types:
•Deposit fully paid:
A check-in of the reservation is possible only if the entire deposit has been received. If the deposit has not been paid in full, a message will be displayed and the guest will not be checked-in.
•Deposit in transfer:
As long as part of the required deposit has been paid, the guest can be checked in; however, SIHOT displays a notice to the user as a reminder of the amount still due.
•Prepayment:
When checking-in a reservation with this guarantee type, the fix services must be posted in advance and payment must be collected upon arrival. For this reason, SIHOT checks for how many days the deposit should be calculated (default: departure date) and then opens the post deposit-dialog.
Additional guarantee types are available with registry key [33005].
When using the guarantee types GTD and FULLPAY, reservations must be entered with credit cards details, otherwise it will not be saved. (Exception: if registry key [40991] is enabled, it is not compulsory to enter a credit card guarantee type GTD.)
All other guarantee types are merely informative and no other functions.
