If connected to an external system, such as internet reservations or a PDQ, the credit card type can be entered in the dialog box Payment.
If connected to an offline terminal, a payment type ZK is required and the card type 2 = Offline-Terminal must be selected. When entering the payment, the payment type ZK must be selected.
In the card type register , the number sets of the credit cards are linked to the different credit card providers and determines which payment type is to be applied to the account. When reading the card number, SIHOT recognises the respective credit card provider and posts the payment accordingly.
Use the registry key [33888] to prevent that the guest name is entered automatically in the description in credit card payments.
