The sales rack is another version of the rate info. The packages to be displayed by default are, therefore, selected in the layout Rate info (definition) (menu Master files - Hotel data).
NOTE:
The configuration of the rate
information and the sales rack is user-specific, i.e. each SIHOT user can select
the packages most relevant to him/her.
TIP:
Remember to check the validity
periods of the packages and their standard booking restrictions, which may have
an effect on the availability of the package in the sales rack.
The summary lines displayed in the sales are the same as in the category rack.
The following registry-keys offer additional configuration options:
•List categories in sales rack/rate info according to the definition in category management instead of rate category sorting key [8484]:
If enabled, the room categories are listed in the sequence that has been established as a “sales guideline” for staff. For example, last let rooms will be listed at the bottom.
•Do not show hotel currency in sales rack [8189]:
It is recommended to enable this key when rates are high or include decimal places to ensure a better overview.
•Do not show overbooking data in sales rack and rate information [825091]
In hotels working with very high overbooking figures, it may not be necessary to show the overbooking data next to the actual available rooms. It is, therefore, possible to prevent them from being displayed by enabling this registry key.
