compulsory.Compulsory fields force the user to make an entry in the field in order to proceed. To define a field as compulsory, proceed as follows:
Ø Enable the configuration mode and open the respective dialog.
Ø Click the icon next to the field to be made
compulsory.
SIHOT opens the layout Field configuration.
Ø Highlight the BO in which the field should be changed and select Compulsory in the column Field configuration.
Ø Click Modify in the function pane and close the layout Field configuration.
Ø Disable the configuration mode.

Ø To change a compulsory field back to a normal field, proceed as above and delete the entry Compulsory, leaving the column blank.
