Base rate packages

The new rate structure in SIHOT was designed for hotels to quickly respond to the demand in different market segments in order to obtain the highest possible occupancy at the best possible rate. It is an open pricing approach that offers more flexibility than the BAR while being extremely easy maintain:  as all base rate packages are derived from one rate, their prices change immediately by simply adjusting the prices in the base rate. The tiers added to the base rate (which is just accommodation) provide endless parameters for any situation and market, especially when they are made subject to booking conditions and/or restrictions.

In principle, this rate structure mirrors the pricing in travel catalogues: the basic package (“prices starting from € 99,00”) is subject to a number of different surcharges depending on the travel period, airport selection and choice of room, in addition to optional services such as excursion packages, which altogether make up the final package price.
