The layout BAR definition production determines which BAR-level will be used when, i.e. the mapping between arrival date, length of stay (LOS) and BAR-level.
It is recommended to use the layout BAR definition planning for entering, changing and double-checking without affecting the live-operation. Once you have completed the data entry, you can take this data over in the production layout (i.e. the operation) by using the Transfer-Button .

By default, SIHOT will charge the same BAR-level for each night the guest is staying at the hotel. I.e., if a guest has booked a 4-night stay to which level BAR1 applies, then this rate will be posted during the night audits.
Alternatively, enable registry entry [502113] to define that the guest is charged the BAR-level applicable for the first, second, etc. night of the stay. I.e. If BAR2 applies to the first night of the stay and another level on the following night, SIHOT will post the daily rate accordingly.
