The figures calculated are entered in the planning dialog. If required, they can be overridden by entering different BAR-levels manually.
The following factors influence the calculation of the BAR-levels to be applied:
•Booking patterns of the respective yield classification period according to:
o Day of the week
o Market segment
o Reservation type
•Pick-up pattern according to:
o Arrival day (Monday, Tuesday, …)
o Classification period
o Market segment
o Reservation type
•Maximum rate (yield and decremental factor)
•Minimum and maximum hurdle
•Turnaways
SIHOT calculates the default value based on the above factors. The lowest net accommodate rate across all occupancy options (number of sharers in a room) is used to determine the BAR-rate.
